From Dornie, it is a 20 min drive to the mountains of Kintail and a 40 min drive to the famous Black Cullin hills.
The Beallach to Applecross is 1 hour away and the scenic villages of Plockton and Kyleakin are each a 15 minute drive.
Some of the more local attractions within the surrounding area of the village include the Castle and it's shop , the school house coffee shop and gallery with free wifi, cycle hire , two pubs that do meals , pony trekking, deep sea fishing from the roadside and two Corbet hills directly behind the cottage.
